Duncan Oklahoma - Life's Hope announces that the International Association of Directional Drilling is hosting a Sporting Clays tournament in Conroe, Texas on August 20, 2010. Some of the proceeds will be used to benefit Life's Hope to
provide safe drinking water for people in developing nations. The event is open to the public, however the tournament has a limited number of start times.
Jim Oberkircher, IADD Executive Director described the tournament, "...a sporting clays tournament is a cross between a golf tournament and a skeet shoot. The Conroe Shooting Center sporting clays field has 10 stations where 5 member teams shoot clays. All 10 stations start shooting at the same time and rotate until all of the teams have completed the course. It takes about an hour and a half to complete the course and each shooter has 100 clays to advance their score. The most favored station is the one where a clay bounces off the ground. They call it the rabbit!"
In a recent interview with Brent Justus, he said, "we are honored to partner with IADD to deliver humanitarian relief while sharing God's Love with people living in hopeless situations. Jim Oberkircher and the association have a global vision for community. We are fortunate to partner with IADD."
There are many attractions within an hour drive time from Conroe. There are golf courses, shopping at The Woodlands Mall and a nearby Outlet Mall, a Water Slide and Park in Spring, and Lake Conroe is nearby.
Make plans to travel with Brent Justus and Pastor Moore to Texas and bring your shotgun and winning ammunition!
